And again Neymar

Neymar has only 19 years and his plans regarding his career are big. He refused to go to Real this summer, although he was wanted by the Galactics. The offer from Real Madrid for him was around 45million euro, but he preferred to stay at Santos for a little bit longer.

I feel that is not the right moment to leave, I want to be near my family and friends. I feel honored by Real’s offer, but for now, my family is the most important to me and I want to stay close to them.” said Neymar who recently become dad.

Waiting for the right moment could bring him even more money but with the condition to keep the same shape in game, as there seems that Barcelona is interested in the player.

Put in the instance of choosing between Real and Barcelona Neymar said: “It’s hard to say, you make me choose between Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi, but I want  to play with both on the same team. I do not know how, but we would make a fantastic team.

Latest rumors say that signed with Barcelona and will play for them starting with the next season. True or false, only time will tell, but what we know for sure is that he is the key player for Santos in this season.

Cruyff starts another war

With the rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid, any spark could ignite the fire once again. This time, an old legend, Cruyff, the man who invented the spectacle football at Barcelona, thinks that if Murinho wants to win any trophy with Real Madrid, the only possibility for them is to move in another country:

The attitude showed by Murinho transmits a lot of helplessness and arrogance. The biggest problem for Real Madrid at the moment is that Barcelona exists.  If they would play in any other league, they would earn much more.” says Cruyff.

But can this be true? Barcelona conquered indeed almost everything and has no plans of stopping. The cost for all that trophies is hard work and a good leadership. One of Barca’s new acquisition, Cesc Fabregas, explains:

Everyone sees the goals but they don’t pay attention to the other things, in particular, when we talk about defense. I’ve never seen a team more focused in the transition between offence and defence. To play against Barcelona is very complicated but to play for Barcelona it’s even harder.  The thing that makes me wonder is their ability of hiding everything and makes it look easy.

So let the ball spin!

Kaka is up for the task

Old stars want to shine again. The player I talk about is the Brasilian Kaka, who is tired of being just a backup for Real Madrid. He is confident that he overcome the difficult times and promises to be a major player in the new season for the Galactics.

Kaka showed his talent in the game with Zaragoza when he managed to score one of the goals, making a strong statement that he wants to continue in the same style in both the championship and Champions League.

In a few words he is grateful for the confidence that Mourinho showed regarding him: “If he didn’t wanted me, he could have told me that and start to find me another team. I know he needs me, he made me feel that throughout our collaboration”.

The Brazilian midfielder is convinced that 2012 is an important year for Real, a year in which they cannot slip the trophies through their fingers, like they did last season when Barcelona took almost everything: ” In the locker room, everyone feels that something important will happen. We want to do great things for our fans, for us and for all those who love Real Madrid. Last year we took the cup in Cibeles Square, now we hope to go there more often”.

With so motivated players, Real Madrid is going to be a hard-to-beat team in all the competition in which they are involved. Opponents, watch out!

Real Madrid found the way

Real Madrid started great a new season, defeating with the score of 6-0 a scared Real Zaragoza, in a match counting for the second stage of the championship of Spain. It was the first match of the new Primera Division season, the first stage being rescheduled due to a strike of football players.

To win, you have to play well. When we play well, we win. The difference between Real and Barcelona is that Barcelona is wining even when they are playing badly. I don’t think that this fact will change this season. They say many lies about me, but that is part of the game.” said Murinho.

Many ask me why didn’t I left this summer, although I had the chance. For here is a unique experience and is undoubtedly the most important club in the world. I feel I’m in the right place. I would not change that for nothing.” continued Jose Murinho.

The neverendless war between Barca and Real

A war that is since forever between Barcelona and Real Madrid won’t reach ever to an end. The situation is even hotter now after two events that got a plus for the Catalans. One is the award received by Barca’s best player, Lionel Messi and the other is tonight game with FC Porto in European Super Cup.

Barcelona and Real have the same number of awards won so far: 73. If Barca will win tonight, Guardiola’s team will overtake Real Madrid in the trophy gathering challenge. With a win on the Camp Nou tonight, Barcelona will reach the third trophy of the season after their Spanish Super Cup already won and the Gamper Trophy.

To add a cherry on top, Messi has been named the best player in Europe last season, over his team-mate Xavi Hernandez and Real Madrid footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi received the award at Monte Carlo, where the draw for the Champions League groups took place. He was named the best player in Europe with 53 European sports journalists and was awarded by the UEFA president, Michel Platini.

Platini added gas on the fire with his declaration: “Messi is better protected by referees than were Pele, Cruyff, Maradona or Zidane and is good that this happens”.

All that remains is to watch the tonight game and see if Barcelona will write history in its battle against their old time rivals Real Madrid.
