Guardiola might replace Del Bosque

In Primera Division, the war is not only between teams. If you look closer, the main actors are the coaches, each with a hunger for good results and as much trophies as possible. The eternal war between Murinho and Guardiola is on a point where, Barca’s coach could have the edge.

Vicente Del Bosque is about to leave from the Spain national team after his contract will expire after Euro 2012. The technician does not know whether to accept or reject a proposed extension given by the Spanish football federation. Del Bosque would like to go, considering that the period of four years as coach that will end in 2012 is sufficient for his career.

The main favorite to take his place is Barcelona’s coach, Pep Guardiola. Spanish federation president Angel Maria Villar has compiled a list of some names, and Guardiola is his first choice. Barcelona coach would accept the proposal. He knows well the national team and most of the players, a thing that would make an easy task to reach Madrid.

Vicente Del Bosque is in his 60, trains the Spain national since 2008 and has had experience as principal at Real Madrid and in Turkey, at Besiktas. Last summer, he refused negotiations with Chelsea and AC Milan to continue as coach for Spain national.

Guardiola awarded

Barcelona’s coach, Pep Guardiola, will be rewarded in behalf of Parliament of Catalunya for his performance, both as player and as coach.

Nuria de Gispert, President of the Chamber, said that Guardiola will receive the “Gold Medal”: “For the values good to be taken as an example as sportsmanship, teamwork, effort and improvement, not only in terms of just personal but also the collective point of view.” he said.

Josep “Pep” Guardiola i Sala was born on 18 of January 1971 in Santpedor, Barcelona. Guardiola played as a defensive midfielder and spent the majority of his playing career with his soul team, FC Barcelona, whom he currently manages. He was part of Johan Cruyff’s dream team that won Barcelona’s first European Cup. Guardiola also played for Brescia Calcio and A.S. Roma in Italy; Al-Ahli in Qatar; and for Dorados de Sinaloa in Mexico.

Among those who have received the distinction are included the economist Ernest Lluch, UN representative in Afghanistan, Francesc Vendrell and Jordi Savall musician of Els Setze Jutges group .

Will he be able to squeeze even more juice from Barcelona? This award could only boost his desire for a new triple with Barcelona.

Change at Chelsea?

After the last rumors from Chelsea regarding the firing of Carlo Ancelotti, news flashed out from each corner about his successor for Abramovich’s team. Ancelotti is reserved in declarations about his possible departure.

Carlo Ancelotti: “I do not know what the future holds. At the end of the season, the club can decide if they want to continue with me or change me. If they are not satisfied, than they can easily change me. This is not a problem.”

The primer subject in replacement at Stamford Bridge is Pep Guardiola, the main target and 1st enemy of Carlo Ancelotti.

Ancelotti will be sacked after the Champions League elimination and Abramovich has set his sights on who created the current Barcelona team.

Guardiola recently signed a 12-month extension at Barcelona. But this won’t stop Abramovich, who hopes to lure him to coach in England, especially as he recently said he will not stay long on the Camp Nou.

Will Abramovich succeed in his attempts? Like all the time, the money will make the difference in my opinion. Keep close for more info’s.
