Kaka is up for the task

Old stars want to shine again. The player I talk about is the Brasilian Kaka, who is tired of being just a backup for Real Madrid. He is confident that he overcome the difficult times and promises to be a major player in the new season for the Galactics.

Kaka showed his talent in the game with Zaragoza when he managed to score one of the goals, making a strong statement that he wants to continue in the same style in both the championship and Champions League.

In a few words he is grateful for the confidence that Mourinho showed regarding him: “If he didn’t wanted me, he could have told me that and start to find me another team. I know he needs me, he made me feel that throughout our collaboration”.

The Brazilian midfielder is convinced that 2012 is an important year for Real, a year in which they cannot slip the trophies through their fingers, like they did last season when Barcelona took almost everything: ” In the locker room, everyone feels that something important will happen. We want to do great things for our fans, for us and for all those who love Real Madrid. Last year we took the cup in Cibeles Square, now we hope to go there more often”.

With so motivated players, Real Madrid is going to be a hard-to-beat team in all the competition in which they are involved. Opponents, watch out!

Fabregas, a good choice

Although was a very long battle with many hours of negotiations, offers over offers, the perseverance of Barcelona’s officials was fully paid. The wanted here, because we are talking about Cesc Fabregas, had turned to be one of the best acquisition of Barcelona for a very long time.

The games just started and Fabregas already looks like he played for the Catalans since he was born. He gathered in just a few weeks 3 trophies and scored a lot of goals, at least one in every game played, some things that he never done during his Arsenal adventure.

I came here to play right next to Messi. And it was a huge reason I wanted to return home. I haven’t seen players like Messi, he is incredible, having everything that a player needs. Barcelona is not comparable with anything, is unique!” said Fabregas.

Former Arsenal captain is very good friends with Pique but they hardly met because of the quarterback’s injury. Pique was the first who welcomed Fabregas when he came to Barcelona. “ Nano, I cannot believe you are here! ” was his reaction when Fabregas stepped in Barcelona’s locker room.

A new season, new opportunities and again, show presented by Barcelona’s alien players.

Trezeguet moves to Asia

I belive its time to talk of old stars. French striker David Trezeguet and former band component of Hercules Alicante, has signed a contract with the Bani Yas group until the end of the season, announced Tuesday the Club from Abu Dhabi.

We are happy to announce the arrival of Trezeguet. Is an agreement of great importance not only for our club, but for all football in the UAE” said the group vice president,  Seif Al-Khayili.

The club did not provide details of the contract value, but according to the press, the former international will receive 1.7 million euros per year. The Bani Yas team, which ranked second in the championship, will play in the Asia Champions Cup.

David Trezeguet, a 34 years-old player has played for teams like AS Monaco and Juventus. He participated in the World Cup in 1998, won by France and in the European Championship in 2000, when he scored the winning goal for France in the final played against Italy.

A move like this will fill his pockets with some money but in the same time could mean that this will be one of the last clubs before his career will end.
