Everything comes around the existence of a system of racial discrimination against young players staged in national training centers in France. Football academies were given instructions not to select more than 30 percent black players and Arab origin over the age of 12-13 years.
The plan was proposed at the meeting from 8 November 2010 of the National Development Programme of the federation, and the national coach, Laurent Blanc, declared in favor of applying such a rate. Blanc would have selected as examples Spain, a world champion which he considered a team with “no problems, which has no black component.
“I would like to apologize for the statements made at that meeting. The terms were fully moved. I didn’t became a coach to stand in the middle of such a scandal. “ Blanc said, adding that he thought to resign. “But the resignation was not a good solution.” he said.
Thursday, the Federal Council, decision-making body of the French Football Federation, has renewed confidence in Laurent Blanc, but has opened disciplinary inquiries against Francois Blaqart national technical director and deputy general director of FFF, Andre Prevosto.
