Big news from Seria A. Claudio Ranieri has officially become the new coach of Inter Milan. He has signed a contract binding him to the club until 30 June 2013, replacing Gian Piero Gasperini, the coach that in the officials opinion didn’t manage to fulfill their objectives.
With a huge CV, training teams like Valencia, Chelsea and Roma, Ranieri is confident that he is the solution for Inter’s crisis: “I’m coming to bring Inter to life!”
“Inter is a great team. They had a bad start of the new season and I will have to talk with the players to understand why, or which was the reason. We need to bring enthusiasm and speed to make a change. I cannot promise that we will win, but I think this team has much to offer and needs to demonstrate it. ” said Ranieri.
With just one point in 3 games and the loss of last game against Novara, Inter is on the 18th place in Serie A. For Ranieri, this will be almost like an impossible mission. The first practice is scheduled today, a new start for Inter Milan.
