FC Barcelona‘s Brazilian defender, Dani Alves, has extended by three years, until 2015, the contract with the Catalan group, said the Spanish club.
The 27 years of age Brazilian international player transferred to FC Barcelona in 2008 from Sevilla, his contract expiring in June 2012.
Spanish press wrote earlier this year that Dani Alves has rejected a new offer to extend the contract with the Catalan group, Barca offering him six million euros per year, while Brazilian defender asked seven million euros per year.
In late February, Dani Alves said he was “optimistic” regarding the contract extension. “I am very optimistic, I know we will find a solution. I can not imagine Barca with no Alves. The signing depends on both sides. If they’ll want, I will stay. Otherwise, life will continue. I won’t pull my hair if they think I don’t deserve to stay. “Alves said.
The problem is solved with help from a company in South America, which gave the amount of money in exchange of Barcelona’s image for promoting some product
