Barcelona presented this year team in the Gamper Trophy in the game against the Italian team Napoli. The Catalans have made a real show and won 5-0 in front of 78,000 spectators, wanting for everyone to see that they are one of the best team in the world.

Murinho blames Casillias

On a time when good results stop to appear for Real Madrid, Jose Murinho is haunting for heads. His first victim seems to be Real’s goalkeeper, Iker Casillias. All these started after they lost the Spanish Super Cup against their old time rivals, FC Barcelona.

Mourinho was upset about Casillas lack of action in the Super Cup with Barcelona, especially in the tense moments at the end of the return game.

According to the press in Spain, Mourinho would seen Casillas’s moments of weakness, a thing that frustrated the Portuguese coach.

This wouldn’t be the first time when Casillas got into his coach bad eyes. Last year, Mourinho even wanted to take his captain armband, after some consecutive mistakes done during the championship.

Once again, Murinho shows that he is a coach very hard to satisfy. The only questions remaining are that Murinho is searching for guilty persons for the latest failures? Does he feel that his position is threatened? A club like Real Madrid which invested a lot in transferring new players, wants positive results for their investment and for now, they didn’t got any.

Anzhi takes all

Russia is a big country famous for vodka, KGB and other things. But now, they are coming strong from behind in the football domain trough a team that started to buy all the stars from the top teams in Europe.

For the moment, Anzhi’s next target is Dani Alves, the Brazilian defender from Barcelona, for who is willing to pay between 35 and 40 million euros. Russians try to attract Guardiola’s player with a salary of 15 million per year, 5 less than actually they are giving Eto’o.

Suleiman Kerimov, the sponsor of Anzhi, ranks in the top 118 richest people in the world. At Anzhi also plays Roberto Carlos, Yuriy Zhirkov and they recently signed with Inter’s striker, Samuel Eto’o which is the the highest paid player in the world with a salary of 20 million euros per year!

The only inconvenient in Dani Alves case is that he has a contract with Barca until 2015 and has a termination clause of 150 million euros, which decreases with 25 million euros from season to season.

If they will pay so Alves could play for them, they could be an important opponent for a lot of teams. Though, Barcelona is an important team and Alves is a key player in their game so a move it’s almost impossible.

Valencia sell Juan Mata

With just a few days before Primera Division is starting, Valencia got a deal and won the big pot after Chelsea agreed their terms regarding the transfer of Juan Mata.

After a quiet beginning of summer on the transfer market, Chelsea made the right moves in just a week. They got a player wanted also by Liverpool and Arsenal, a skilled man that could make the difference between a loss and a win.

Chelsea and Valencia have reached an agreement “in principle” for Juan Mata to come to London club. None of the clubs didn’t want to talk about the amount of money but both confirmed that the player will do his medical exams.

Chelsea’s officials said: “We’ve got a deal with Valencia regarding the transfer of midfielder Juan Mata. Transfer now depends on the medical visit and the player to negotiate the contract with the club.”

Chelsea was not the only team that wanted to Mata. One by one, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham have expressed an interest in Spanish but Villas-Boas made the right moves and got him for the Blues.

The next game for Chelsea is against Norwich City, a game that might have Mata on the field if everything will be ok with the paperwork.

Eto’o sign with Anji Makhachkal

It’s official now! Cameroon federation announced yesterday that Samuel Eto’o has signed with Anji Makhachkal. Former Inter striker signed a three-year contract with Russia to Anji.

“Eto’o has signed! There is no doubt” said an official of the Federation of Cameroon, who wished to keep his name anonymous. The National radio in Cameroon came with some more infos, adding also a three-year contract signed by Eto’o, who would receive an annual salary of about 20 million.

On the other hand, the Italian mass media writes that Inter officials told the Russians that they won’t accept an amount less than 29 million euros for the transfer of Eto’o, while those from Anji Makhachkala gave only 24 million.

Samuel Eto’o is the best scorer of Inter Milan with 41 goals in season 2010-2011. He is a complete player, with his lessons learned after passing trough some majors clubs in Europe. His peak point was when he played for Barcelona, being well sustained by his teammate, Ronaldinho. Now, he is doing an important move for his career. Is it the right one or not? Too late! We just have to see how he’ll fit in in the Russian team.
