FIFA changes the rules

FIFA Board met in Zurich to discuss various measures that could be introduced into football. One initiative requires that a team cannot perform in a match three changes, as at present, but four. There is one condition: the last substitution to be made only if the overtime game is reached.

“The players fatigue will be great after 90 minutes and a fresh man can help a team more, “the world court officials said. If it will be approved, the new idea will be implemented in 2012.

The debate is extended on other proposals too. These include the introduction of a video technology or a smart ball at the gates to determine whether or not it was a goal  at the litigation stage, the transition to professional arbitration, generalized system of five referees, to award a foul in the 16 meters square only with a yellow card (“red” only in cases of violence), to be given offside when the ball reaches to the player in case and the opportunity to appear more female coaches and referees.

Liverpool preparing for the next season

The group that took over Liverpool in 2010, Fenway Sports Group, is confident that they will bring from Aston Villa the player who made sensation, Ashley Young. Americans are sure and the fact that in a few days Kenny Dalglish will sign a contract that makes him the general manager of the club with all the rights.

After having spent over 67 million euros in winter on Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez, they are about to invest 17 million in the extreme player from Villa, despite the fact that United is after him too.

Young is entering in the last year of contract with Villa and is attracted to a move that would bring a substantial increase in salary and he apparently wants to go to Liverpool instead United because it would have a place in the first team on the left lane attack, unlike United who have the Nani, Park Ji-Sung and Valencia,.

Besides the transfer of Ashley Young, Liverpool is interested in Blackpool’s captain, Charlie Adam, Gary Cahill from Bolton and Phil Jones from Blackburn.

Is it enough for Liverpool? Only time will tell.

Real gone for shopping

The battle of Real Madrid is taking part this season on three plans but is thinking of the future too. Jose Mourinho’s team has set his sights on two players in the Premier League which is willing to spend 55 million euros!

Real Madrid are preparing to make bids for both of them, the young Brazilian from Tottenham, Sandro, and for the striker who has impressed this season at Manchester, Javi ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez. Mourinho wants his team to dominate as both Spanish and European football, and with young and brilliant players to play at thir best against the great rival, Barcelona.

Jose wants to refresh Real’s line of attack, a line held back this season after Gonzalo Higuain injury and with a Karim Benzema that needed to place for both. Mourinho believes Chicharito Hernandez is the perfect man to complete the actions of colleagues.

Real hopes to lure him to Spain and will make a significant offer for the 22 years old striker, Hernandez. He had a season more than expected, especially as he has managed to face in recent weeks even the team’s leading scorer, Dimitar Berbatov.
Mourinho is also interested in the midfielder of the Champions League opponent, Sandro. He’s seen as the perfect replacement for Lassana Diarra, who almost certainly will leave this summer.

It seems that Real would be willing to give about 50 million pounds on those two. A huge amount of money but they worth every penny.
