Iniesta, about the final

As the big final of UEFA Champions League is awaited with so much interest, everybody talks about it. One of the key players of the game is Iniesta from Barcelona.

Iniesta is the man of the match endings. In 2009 he scored against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League second leg semi-final and scored the winning goal for Spain at the World Cup. “All I want is to win, and this always happens”.

Andres Iniesta had the best season of his career. He played a good football, scored a lot of goals and helped Barcelona to reach the final, to win the League and title in Spain.

“I don’t think that I’ll score in the final. I hope the fans do not expect any of it. Even if it will be an equal score, I don’t want like fans put all their trust in me. I just want to win, not to be the star player. I want to bring the Champions League to Barcelona and to celebrate it with the fans, “was Iniesta’s statement.

Is this the real deal or is just a move to relax Manchester’s players and take an even bigger hit?

Racism in France

Everything comes around the existence of a system of racial discrimination against young players staged in national training centers in France. Football academies were given instructions not to select more than 30 percent black players and Arab origin over the age of 12-13 years.

The plan was proposed at the meeting from 8 November 2010 of the National Development Programme of the federation, and the national coach, Laurent Blanc, declared in favor of applying such a rate. Blanc would have selected as examples Spain, a world champion which he considered a team with “no problems, which has no black component.

“I would like to apologize for the statements made at that meeting. The terms were fully moved. I didn’t became a coach to stand in the middle of such a scandal. “ Blanc said, adding that he thought to resign. “But the resignation was not a good solution.” he said.

Thursday, the Federal Council, decision-making body of the French Football Federation, has renewed confidence in Laurent Blanc, but has opened disciplinary inquiries against Francois Blaqart national technical director and deputy general director of FFF, Andre Prevosto.

Barcelona preparing

Being in a latent period, until the Champions League final against Manchester United, Barcelona is in negotiations with it’s partners. So, UNICEF logo will remain on the official FC Barcelona T-shirt for season 2011-2012, located below the number of players.

In the last five years UNICEF has supported Barcelona and its programs that have improved the lives of hundreds of thousands of children and provided exposure to the world for UNICEF.

The next stage of the partnership, which is still under negotiations, the club aims to use social assets in support of a global movement for education and sports, which will deliver tangible results for children.

Beside this, Barcelona has from Audi a car painted in the club’s colors and signs. Audi has chosen The Barcelona Motor Show event, which takes place these days in Barcelona, to display the new A1 FC Barcelona.

On top of all, UEFA officially announced on their website that the allegations against Busquets were rejected for “lack of clear evidence”.

Everything is set for the big moment, let the big final begin!

Malouda makin’ bussines

Florent Malouda, one of the rightful owner of the position in the first 11 in recent seasons at Chelsea is playing at the highest level in the Premier League for his team. Beside this he feels attracted bythe administrative side of football.

He decided to enter the French Second Division, like a shareholder of Dijon club, where his younger brother, Lesly, is playing. The midfielder from Stamford Bridge will bring money to the club, meant to help develop children’s center and junior club in Burgundy.

Dijon’s president, Bernard Gnecchi, confirmed that 30-year-old footballer will be involved financially in the divisional second:

“Florent will put money in Dijon and will enter in the board of the club. It is currently very busy and may not represent the official club, but certainly in the future he will have more free time he can devote to Dijon.

His experience in football could be very helpful. Dijon wants to work at the highest level with children and juniors. Obviously, Lesly brother’s presence at the club had to do with his decision.”

Malouda has 121 matches for Chelsea and scored 33 goals in the blue T-shirt. He also collected 65 selections in the French national team where he scored another five goals.
