Fiorentina is starting the Spring cleaning in the players rows. After a season with such small rate of success in all competitions, the Viola team wants to refresh the team and get rid of the players that don’t deserve to be in the team.
The first name on the transfer list that will go this summer will be Adrian Mutu.
And there are two reasons for this action:
– Its role will be taken back by the Montenegrin Stevan Jovetic, 21, considered the future star of the Viola team;
– In January, Fiorentina gave him the last chance, and he rewarded the club with many promises and few goals: only four. He has another year under contract with the Viola and the idea of staying sounds good for him, especially since the supporters love him. But if he feels unwanted, he will seek an alternative solution. So far, the offers come from outside Italy.
Statistics:
140 official matches played Adrian Mutu from Fiorentina;
69 goals (54 league, 4 in the Italian Cup, five in the Champions League, UEFA Cup 6)
played in Serie A at: Inter, Verona, Parma and Fiorentina
Will this measure help Fiorentina to make a comeback next season? Stay tuned!
