The fire started on the TV rights of the Primera Division. Matches of 30th stage of the Spanish first league have been postponed because of the strike teams, but not all clubs have accepted the decision.
The clubs that don’t support the strike are seeking for the annulment of a law that requires that at least one game a week must run free on a TV post that does not have broadcasting rights.
Spanish Federation (LFP) said, regarding the existing problems, that there has been no progress in talks with the clubs, the Spanish government was involved too. “Dialogue has been postponed till April”, informed the LFP.
If it will be a permanent decision, the postponement will affect the activity of the first two leagues of Spain, even if not all clubs agree with the idea. Some even asked a court in Madrid to grant the match dispute. Among them are Athletic Bilbao, Espanyol, Real Sociedad, Sevilla, Villarreal and Zaragoza.
