Barcelona takes Fabregas, finally

It looks that Barcelona’s prayers have a positive effect. After long negotiation, Fabregas and Nasri have green lights. Arsene Wenger should receive 60 mill pounds after deciding that he is prepared to sell Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

Barcelona returned yesterday with a new offer for Fabregas that, including add-ons, is worth around 35 mill pounds. They hoped for more, but there is a feeling on both sides that one of the longgest running transfer soap-opera is finally coming to a stop.
The other player in talking, Samir Nasri is very close in signing with Manchester City.

If the transfer will be on, Arsenal would get for their player around 23 mil pounds. The chances for Nasri departure are very high because he is in the last year of contract and if they won’t sell him now, next year Nasri could go for free.

Althoug these looks like a good deal financially speaking, won’t this affect the results? Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville said: “If they lose Fabregas and Nasri, will they finish in top four? If they lose those players and don’t replace them I would be incredibly surprised to achieve that!“.

Juventus battle for 2006 title

Juventus announced that they appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport to the National Federal Council decision of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) to not withdraw Inter Milan’s team title in 2006, awarded after Calciopoli case.

Juventus won the national title in 2006 on the groundlike that of 2005, but the trophies were taken after the group was relegated to Serie B for the role played in Calciopoli scandal. After those events the title was assigned to Internazionale Milano. At that time, teams AC Milan, Lazio, Fiorentina and Reggina were penalized also.

Juventus asked FIGC to reconsider the case and the Federal Council of the Italian court decided on July 18,the title of 2006 remain in the club record of Inter.

Juve’s request was motivated by new discoveries appeared in the Calciopoli. Thus, the indictment in th appeal process for Calciopoli, written by the federal prosecutor Stefano Palazzi, incriminates Inter Milan group also. According to Palazzi, Inter Milan, “was also in an irregular network of relations” with the referees and could have been sanctioned since 2006.

Juventus announced Wednesday about the complaint and informed the Executive Committee of UEFA, the Ministry of Interior from Italy, Prefecture of Rome and the Italian Olympic Committee.

Murinho does magic

Some actors from the football stage make everything to look so easy. One of those, a wizard when it comes to football, strategies and player movement, Jose Murinho managed “to pull another rabbit from the hat”.

Real’s coach convinced Radamel Falcao to refuse a 5,7 million euros per season offer from Chelsea just so he could arrange a move to Real Madrid in 2012. The agreement between the Colombian striker and the Spanish club seems to have been initialed in mid-July and a deal has been approved and by FC Porto officials.

Radamel Falcao García Zárate was born on 10 February 1986. He is a Colombian football forward who currently plays for Porto. He is a natural goalscorer being considered one of the best forwards in the world.

The Columbian player had an exceptional season, managed to break the record of Jurgen Klinsmann for goals in European Cups, managing 17 goals in Champions League.

An asset like this is a very well planned future for the Spanish club and this shows once again the difference between a good coach and a phenomenal one. It’s just Murinho’s challenge to out beat himself.

Neymar amazes again

It seems that all came to an end in the case of one of the most wanted player this summer, the brasilian Neymar.

Neymar is sure that he’ll have offers from clubs from major countries in Europe even after half a year, when he says that will take into account the separation of Santos.

Until then, the Brazilian wonder kid does not think in migrating to either Barca or Real. He just wants to play as well for its present team and wants to impress on the national team matches.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are not my big issues right now for, I’m not interested. I have already said everything I had to say on this subject, everyone knows what I will do from now” said Neymar.

In a interview on FIFA’s website, the Brazilian has shocked Real fans, a player log expected to play for Real late in the winter. “Barcelona is the best team in the world, and has the best player in the world” was Neymar’s words.

So after all the fights neither Barca or Real got the black pearl. Only time will tell what will be the club that will take advantage of player’s high skills.

Surprise across the Europe

As the championships around the Europe are giving their first game of the new season, the surprises didn’t wait much to be seen. The first two leagues that started, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 brought the biggest ones.

The main difficulty came for the hard betting ones, which lost a lot of money on, let’s say, 100% sure bets. Once again, the expression used by me a lot, “the ball is round”, came to show that.

Bayern, the big favorite for the title in Germany, was defeated on their home field on Allianz Arena by Gladbach, a team that recently played the game that assured it’s place in the first league in Germany.

Moving to their neighbors in France, PSG, the club that invested lots of money in transfers this summer, lost 0-1 in front of Lorient. Marseille has not done any better, having drawn 2-2 with Sochaux on the Velodrome.

These things show us once again that a victory is not obtained until the last whistle of the referee. A game starts from 0 – 0 and the difference is made by on spot imagination combined with skills from all the players from a team. This is why, football is named the king sport!
