Neymar goes with Real

After a big delay, they finally got to a happy ending: Neymar will play for Real. With the agreement of the player in the pocket everything is set for the Spanish club. The only uncertainty is the striker’s arrival that could be this week or in January.

Chelsea, Barcelona and Manchester City can cut Neymar out of their shopping list. The Brazilian player is in Real’s hands. President Florentino Perez has eliminated Saturday night the last barrier of the transfer after he obtained approval from his counterpart from Santos, Alvaro de Oliveira.

The contract stipulates that Real Madrid t-shirt wil be worn by Neymar for six seasons and will earn 5 million euros net per season.

The only question remaining is the time when the Brazilian player will be able to train under Jose Mourinho’s wand. Ribeiro revealed that the player wants very much to play for Santos athe World Club competition, scheduled between 8 and 18 December. If Real will agree with that terms, the Brazilian player will be seen in the Primera Division most likely starting in January 2012.

The sum paid for him will be around 45 million. Is it worth it? Will he make a difference? Time will tell.

Zidane, 3rd in Real’s Board

Arrived at Real in as an official person, Zidane was acting as advisor to the club president.
After Mourinho cut Valdano from the position of General Manager, the post remained vacant and now will be occupied by Zidane.

Zinedine Zidane impressed Mourinho, who asked the president Florentino Perez to invest it in new position. The Frenchman will be the third person as important club after the president and coach.

The Frenchman talked about his new post in the club, Mourinho has influenced this decision, but it was the president desire toot. We will see what will be, I will begin work Monday.”

Zidane’s winning move seems to have been his involvement in bringing to the club Varane Raphael, the young hope of French football, a defender of just 18.

At club level Zidane won the La Liga and the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid, two Serie A league championships with Juventus, an Intercontinental Cup, and a UEFA Super Cup each with both aforementioned sides. He is, alongside Brazilian striker Ronaldo, the only three-time FIFA World Player of the Year winner.

Arsenal – 2

While almost all clubs are fighting to bring the best players in the house, last season title competitor, Arsenal, is about to lose two of the best players from the first 11.

Arsenal would like to keep Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, but chances for this to happen are quite small. Fabregas, who was on holiday in Spain, returned Tuesday to the club, but with though to leave, because Barcelona has made a new offer, this time putting on the table 35 million pounds. Nasri is still on vacation, and his situation is more complicated, as he is in the last 12 months of the contract.

The team from London refused an offer of 27 million pounds from the Catalans, but the new advanced amount, 35 million pounds, seems to appeal to the leadership of the Emirates.

Fabregas started the 2004-05 season at Arsenal and at the end of that won the FA Cup editions. Unfortunately, the only trophy was to be conquered with London team until today. Nasri, who came in 2008, failed even that, which is why he rejected the offer of renewal of contract with the Gunners, worth 90,000 pounds a week.

Things don’t look too good for Arsenal. Will this affect the next season? We shall find out soon!

The moves have started

After a good pause between seasons, the teams and the players are starting to make their first moves on the transfer market.

So to be close to these moves, I am starting with Luis Garcia, which after a road trip to a lot of top European teams like: Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and an disastrous season at Panathinaikos. In the end he decided that he needs a change. After a black season in Greece, where he scored 2 goals in 14 matches, Garcia wants to change European air with the one from Mexico.

This idea was spotted on a socializing website where he posted a message: “Good evening. Mexico will be my next destination next year, will confirm it tomorrow!”

Raised in Barcelona, Garcia made it only for one season for the Catalans, scoring 4 goals in 25 matches. Transferred to Liverpool, where he spent three seasons and scored 18 goals in 77 matches. After three seasons at Atletico and Racing Santander, Luis Garcia was transferred to Greece.

Will it be a good change in his future career? We shall wait and see!
